2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using our services, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensure that any content you upload does not contain sensitive, confidential, or unauthorized information
• Respect intellectual property rights and not infringe upon the rights of others
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
• Not use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Platform without authorization

• Not use the Platform to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Respect device limits and subscription restrictions associated with your account

Violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of your account and access to the Platform.

4. Accuracy and Limitations of AI Responses

While we strive for accuracy and continuously work to improve our services, responses and content generated by our AI systems may not always be complete, current, accurate, or legally binding. The Platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies that may produce errors, omissions, or outdated information.

• No Legal Advice: Ghana Legal AI does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. All content generated by the Platform is for informational and research purposes only.
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or legal validity of any output, analysis, or information provided by the Platform.
• User Verification Required: You are solely responsible for verifying all information, citations, and content generated by the Platform with qualified legal professionals before relying on it for any purpose.
• No Liability for Errors: We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the content generated by the Platform, or for any decisions or actions taken based on such content.
• Professional Consultation: For legal advice, representation, or counsel, you must consult with a qualified, licensed legal professional in your jurisdiction.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process certain information to provide, maintain, and improve our services, ensure account security, and comply with legal obligations.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property: All content, software, technology, designs, logos, trademarks, and materials on the Platform are owned or licensed by Ghana Legal AI and protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and patent laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or otherwise use our intellectual property without our express written permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using the Platform. However, by using the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

Generated Content: Content generated by the Platform using your input may be subject to intellectual property considerations. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe upon the rights of others.

7. Subscription Plans and Billing

Subscription Tiers: We offer various subscription plans with different features, limits, and pricing. Subscription plans may include Basic, Premium, and Enterprise tiers, each with specific features and limitations.

Subscription Terms:

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as applicable)
• By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically on each billing cycle
• All subscription fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds will be issued for partial usage periods or mid-billing cycle cancellations
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
• You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period

Device Limits: Your subscription plan includes specific device limits. You may only access the Platform from the number of devices allowed by your plan. Exceeding device limits may result in account restrictions or additional charges.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will apply to subsequent billing cycles. Continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information and ensuring sufficient funds are available for subscription renewals.

8. Account Management and Device Limits

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Device Management: Your subscription plan includes specific device limits. You can manage your registered devices through your account settings. Exceeding your device limit may result in restrictions on new device registrations or require upgrading your subscription plan.

Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or restrict your account if we detect suspicious activity, violation of these Terms, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users.

9. Limitation of Liability

Service Availability: The Platform is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

No Warranties: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghana Legal AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

Termination by You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. However, account deletion cannot be performed directly through the application. To request account deletion, please send an email to our administrative team using the contact form on our Contact Us page or directly to our support email. Please include your account email address and a clear request for account deletion in your message.

Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms or any applicable policies
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Violation of intellectual property rights
• Any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform, its users, or our interests

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies. All subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for partial usage periods or mid-billing cycle cancellations.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform:

• For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• To transmit, upload, or distribute any harmful, malicious, or illegal content
• To infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• To impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• To interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers connected to the Platform
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or other accounts
• To use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Platform without authorization
• To reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
• To resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Platform
• To use the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ghana Legal AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you upload or create using the Platform

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ghana.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on the Platform
• Sending an email notification to registered users
• Displaying a notice on the Platform

The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when changes were last made. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and terminate your account.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ghana Legal AI regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
